A common drum pattern in hardcore/brocore music
produced by alternating between the floor tom, bass, and snare. The
drummer may also rotate his/her torso for dramatic effect as he/she goes
back and forth from floor tom to snare drum. The beat is repeated
several times and often preludes or follows a breakdown.
